Kamal H. Khayat is the Vernon and Maralee Jones Professor of civil engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T), Rolla, MO where he has been since August 2011. He was Professor of Civil Engineering at the Université de Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Quebec between 1990 and 2011. Dr. Khayat is also guest professor at the College of Civil Engineering at Hunan University and the China Building Materials Academy. He serves as director of the Center for Infrastructure Engineer
